Here is a great example of a paint restoration. A friend of mine Mark bought a 1978 911 SC 3.0L that really needed a paint job. This car was in a small wreck and was in storage for a long time. The paint was flaking off as well as the Bondo was cracking. The best think here was to strip all the paint off to metal and reseal it with a epoxy primer. I used aircraft paint remover to remove all the paint down to the metal. I removed the 930 Turbo tail, and replaced it with an RS Duck Tail. We've decided to change the color to Grand Prix White with the Carrera decals, for a RS look.
